Why did you not just stick to the plan? You had no faith in Me.

Once there was a sweeper in a well known temple and he was very sincere and devoted. Every time he saw thousands of devotees coming to take darshan of the Lord, he thought that the Lord is standing all the time and giving darshan and He must be feeling very tired. So one day very innocently he asked the Lord whether he can take the place of the Lord for a day so that the Lord can have some relief and rest.

The Deity of Temple replied, "I do not mind taking a break. I will transform you like Myself, but you must do one thing, you must just stand here like Me, smile at everyone and just give benedictions. Do not interfere with anything and do not say anything. Remember you are the deity and you just have faith that I have a master plan for everything.”

The sweeper agreed to this.

The next day the sweeper took the position of the deity and a rich man came and prayed to the Lord.

He offered a nice donation and prayed that his business should be prosperous. While going, the rich man inadvertently left his wallet full of money right there.

Now the sweeper in the form of deity could not call him and so he decided to control himself and keep quiet.

Just then a poor man came and he put one coin in the Hundi (offer box) and said that it was all he could afford and he prayed to the Lord that he should continue to be engaged in the Lord's service. He also said that his family was in dire need of some basic needs but he left it to the good hands of the Lord to give some solution. When he opened his eyes, he saw the wallet left by the rich man. The poor man thanked the Lord for His kindness and took the wallet very innocently.

The sweeper in the form of the Deity could not say anything and he had to just keep smiling.

At that point a sailor walked in. He prayed for his safe journey as he was going on a long trip.

Just then the rich man came with the police and said that somebody has stolen his wallet and seeing the sailor there, he asked the police to arrest him thinking that he might have taken it.

Now the sweeper in the form of Deity wanted to say that the sailor is not the thief but he could not say so and he became greatly frustrated.

The sailor looked at the Lord and asked why he, an innocent person, is being punished?!

The rich man looked at the Lord and thanked Him for finding the thief. The sweeper in the deity form could no more tolerate and he thought that even if the real Lord had been here, he would have definitely interfered and hence he started speaking and said that the sailor is not the thief but it was the poor man who took away the wallet. The rich man was very thankful as also the sailor.

In the night, the real Lord came and He asked the sweeper how the day was. The sweeper said, "I thought it would be easy, but now I know that Your days are not easy, but I did one good thing." Then he explained the whole episode to the Lord.

The Lord became very upset on hearing this whereas the sweeper thought the Lord would appreciate him for the good deed done.

The Lord asked, "Why did you not just stick to the plan? You had no faith in Me. Do you think that I do not understand the hearts of all those who come here?

All the donation which the rich man gave was all stolen money and it is only a fraction of what he really has and he wants Me to reciprocate unlimitedly! On the contrary, the single coin offered by the poor man was the last coin he was having and he gave it to Me out of faith. The sailor might not have done anything wrong, but if the sailor were to go in the ship that night he was about to die because of bad weather and instead if he is arrested he would be in jail and he would have been saved from a greater calamity.

(Whatever may be your plans, Only His plans work in the end)

The wallet should go to the poor man because he will use it in My service. I was going to reduce the rich man's karma also by doing this and save the sailor also. But you cancelled everything because you thought you know My plan and you made your own plans!"

A giant ship engine failed. The ship's owners tried one expert after another.However, none of them could figure but how to fix the engine.Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a young. He carried a large bag of tools with him and When he arrived, he immediately went to work.He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man,Hoping he would know what to do.After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer.He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life.He carefully put his hammer away.The engine fixed, a week later, the owners receivedA bill from the old man for ten thousand dollar"What?" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"Therefore, they wrote the old man a note saying,"Please send us an itemized bill."

Kill all negative thoughts and give space to positive thoughts in your mind

We all know that developing a positive mindset is the toughest thing one can do. And once it is inbuilt in our mind that it stays for a long time. According to a survey it is found that in a day around 60,000 thoughts comes in human mind and in that approx 59,990 thoughts are the same as the previous day.

And these thoughts are the combination of both negative and positive thoughts, where as most of the people do carry negative thoughts more than the positive one. This is the basic thing which we all have to learn from our life. That we should replace one bad thought with a positive thought, initially it is very difficult to have a control on this but daily practice it can help us a lot to live our life in a different way.

In time, all bad emotions will vanish like anger, resentment, depression, doubt and fear. We will also gain confidence and will learn more things in our life. This is not an overnight process and will take time. So be patient with this process. Time is the biggest helper that you can have on our side when you institute a change in your life.

Helping others is one of the most important aspect in life today. There are many different ways, and different forms of helping people. Helping others could make another person feel better either inside, or about them self. It could be from helping a senior citizen cross the street, to saving someones life. It totally depends on us that what type of help we want to do for the people who are in need of help. Unfortunately, the truth is that today we are so much busy in other works in our own life that we don't have time even to think about others.

Most of people today are in such a rush to go home from work, pick up kids from day care, keep the household chores up and fall into bed exhausted at night. There doesn't seem to be much time to help others.

But we can easily help others, now the basic question arises How??? The answer is simple that we should devote some time from our schedule for others and that can be on daily, weekly or monthly also again completely depends on us.

If you have not helped anyone till now, then i would suggest you to take out some time of your life for others and try to give them support, make them feel special with your help and I promise that you will have a lifetime experience. Develop the habit of helping others. At last I want to share a poem with you all.

You gave on the way a pleasant smile,
And thought no more about it.
It cheered a life that had been dark the while,
Which might have been wrecked without it.
And so for that smile that was given there,
You'll have a reward sometime-somewhere.

You spoke one day a cheering word,
And passed to other duties.

Are you running away from your responsibilities????

During our daily lives or in the midst of extraordinary circumstances, we often come upon worthy causes to donate to. However, because of one of any number of reasons we fail to make the donation. When you give even a little bit to an organization that helps others, you are making a positive impact. Just as multiple rain drops can cause a flash flood, your few rupees combined with the few rupees that thousands and millions also donate can change lives. So, why do good people hold back from donating when they really want to? Here are the top 5 excuses people use to NOT donate to charity:

1. I don’t have the money to donate:

It is true that there are a great many people that cannot afford to donate money. They may in fact need the assistance of some of the great charities that are out there. However, for the rest of us, we can more often than not find the Rs. 250/- or more to donate to a great charity.
There are creative ways to find money to make charitable contributions. Today, skip one gourmet coffee trip. This week, cut out one fast food night and eat at home. Rather than buying snacks at lunch time, save that money and put it to a different use. Cash in your box or bottle of change. Bring lunch to work instead of buying lunch for a day. In short, if you believe in a cause, you can find a way to donate to that cause.

2. I don’t want my money to go towards overhead:

We all want to see our monetary help go directly to the people that require the assistance. That assistance has to someone reached the people it is intended to help though. Transportation, packaging, and security are just some of the areas that charities must spend money to ensure their aid reaches the people it must help. Unfortunately, we still live in a system where those things must be paid for.
In the end, it’s more important to donate to a charity that you believe in, and that has the capability of delivering aid to the intended recipients. You should take the time to understand the companies you consider donating to so you have the peace of mind that you are making a difference. Don’t rule out donating altogether because of rumors, unsubstantiated statements or a few proven bad apples.

3. I believe all charities are fraudulent:

There have been issues with some companies in the past. Also, there are people that purposely set up charities with the intention of using donations received for their own benefit. However, there are many more big and small charities that are directly helping the people they are intending to assist. When you choose not to donate because of the transgressions of the few, you actually hurt the people you were motivated to assist.
Don’t allow a few bad people and organizations stop you from helping the organizations that really do help people. You can be a part of the solution. Do your research, get comfortable with the company you want to donate with, and then follow through.

4. My money won’t help:
How can a donation of Rs.50/- help anyone? That Rs.50/- could be enough to purchase vital medication, food, water, and other supplies that can make a difference in someone’s life. That Rs.50/- could be combined with thousands of others that also donated in varying amounts to help a lot of different people.
Don’t think of your donation as being the end, but instead as money that will be added to the donations of many others to effect real change. Every penny helps. You can never donate too little. Decide what’s comfortable for you and your family to donate and make it so. You’ll also feel great once you do!

5. My money is no longer needed:

When a crisis abates, and the news cameras go home, people often think that their donations are no longer needed. When issues that were once major seem to be getting better, it may appear that the work of the charity is complete. Often times, nothing can be further than the truth.
In many cases, it’s when the major attention is off of the crisis that the real work begins. When a charity forms, there is often much more work to be done than any single charity can fulfill. Don’t decide not to donate because you believe the need has passed. Do your homework and determine for yourself if there is more work to be done. Rather than assume that lack of media attention means all is well, check into for you. You will often be surprised at the degree of misery and human plight the world often ignores.

Please donate what you can to the causes that touch your heart the most. You feel good when you are giving, because you know that you are helping others to help themselves.

When we don't have any spare cash with ourself, it seems impossible to help those who are in even greater need. But there are now several ways to donate without it costing us anything. By simply changing the way we carry out regular activities, we will be contributing to the charity of our choice, and if we can spare a few minutes of our day, we can give even more than before.

But to make it possible we need to change some of our habits in day to day life like by changing the places where you spend money. For ex - Many retails stores have the policy on some products that with the sales of that particular product some amount will be donated for social welfare, also companies have their unit separately for CSR activities who work only for the welfare of the society. By this way we can contribute something for our society.

Apart from this we can also donate money, old clothes or toys to people who are in need, it is a great way of showing them that you care. Every donations they receive, new or not, is an equivalent of great happiness to them, and the great thing about it, is that it also brings the feeling of accomplishment in our hearts for giving out something that made a person smile.

Before you give donations to any charity, make sure you take all the necessary precautions to insure your money goes where you intended it to. This also helps to keep you safe from identity theft and fraud.

The world gives us so much, along with the people in it. Sadly, most of us take it for granted.

Strategic Meet Q3FY11 - Future plans for Shanti Foundation

We are glad to inform you that Q3FY11 Strategic meet of HBJ Capital Services Private Ltd held successfully on 2nd and 3rd October'10. Members from different offices located at various cities attended this meeting.

Main aim to conduct this meeting was to look back at the performance of all the business units and also to share and implement new ideas for future growth of the company. Although company is doing well and to continue like this in future various measures were discussed with all the members of HBJ Capital Private Limited.

The main focus in meeting was on Shanti foundation, discussing what activities is happening at SF and what else should be included. MOMENTS THAT WE CANNOT FORGET IN OUR ENTIRE LIFE

We visited Jyothigamya Blind Forum on 10th September’10. Whole HBJ team has already shared their experience. Now I would like to tell how we all enjoyed there including JBF members. In JBF around 20-24 blind students are staying. They all are studying some in college and other in school. JBF members arrange the study material for them and after looking them studying and writing we all were AMAZED. And the most surprising thing was that daily they manage on their own to go to their school and college. There are so many things to learn from them. They all have very strong willpower and all are very intelligent, have high goals in their life.

The students of JBF also performed various activities, as I have already mentioned that they all are very talented this doesn’t mean that only in studies they are excellent in other fields also. Some of them have very nice voice and sang beautiful songs. One solo song and one group song was performed by the students. The songs were so soothing and we all got emotional that time. People might be wondering why a small company like HBJ Capital has CSR unit called “Shanti Foundation”, why do they need to do charity, what do they get helping the un-privileged folks so and so…….

And the single answer for all such queries is “BIG PURPOSE”. In life if you want to do something BIG, achieve something GREAT then you must be driven by “BIG PURPOSE”. Without any reason, without any motivation it becomes difficult for anyone one to do anything. We know that charity starts at home and our responsibility for our own family members comes first and this is the fact which is driving most of the people in this world who earn and lives (read survives) their life. If you look beyond this, you will find there are huge number of people looking towards you for some kind of services, support & help. HBJ Capital need a purpose, a bigger purpose then self help, a reason to create wealth and fortune for all our stakeholders (be it our associates, our subscribers or our investors). Just think for a moment, you are working so hard just because you have to look after your parents, your wife, your kids, you have to provide them comfort and facilitate them with all possible things in this world. Now, for the time being think as if all the un-privileged people in this world are a part of your family who look towards you for some kind of support, you will definitely work much harder to help them as much as possible. Our visit to JBF was a step towards this motive….For me there is no diff between a physically blind person and those having eyes with no vision in life. These guys at JBF were able to do everything with comfort just like us and believe me they had better skills like singing song, playing music instruments and some of them were very good in studies too. It was a great experience spending time with them. During this visit we took grocery items (as adviced by the promoter of JBF) for them. We also asked their needs and expectations from us so that during the next visit we can bring a smile on their face by getting them what they really want like musical instruments, playing items or some specific books.

This is a song, which came to my mind as I entered JBF. When I saw people with no eyes , I was so thankful to god that I got eyes to see the beautiful world and the colors of universe.

I was able to feel the amount of pain those guys were facing with their regular routine work and studies as well. Still they are High on spirits and they are fighting on every step of there life. They were self motivated and the only thing they were not having was "Eyes".

To make their life more beautiful I think we all should at-least contribute something to enlighten the home of those on whom god has been so cruel.

Another Unforgettable Trip

HBJ Team visited Jyothigamya Blind Forum (JBF) on 10th September; it is located at Maleshwaram in Bangalore. As already mentioned earlier it is like a home for blind students, where the members of JBF take care of them.

This month we contributed useful groceries for the welfare of those students. It was a great experience spending time with those students. Each member of HBJ enjoyed there and also learned a lot of things. And we all have lot more things to learn from them.

All members interacted with the students to understand how they manage their day to day life? How they study? And what are their future plans? Apart from this we played games with them. All the students were very talented and have a bright future.

We wish them all the best for their future!!!

NEXT VISIT TO NGO ON 10th SEP'10

HBJ team is going to visit Jyothigamaya Blind Forum (NGO) on 10th Sep 2010. It is located at Maleshwaram in Bangalore, it is an academy for blind children where the members of the organization educate, feed and take care of children staying there. It is like a home for those kids where they play, learn and develop themselves.

HBJ Team has planned to visit NGO on this friday and help them by contributing things which could be used for the welfare of those blind kids.

HBJ and SF team would like to thank all the people who are linked with HBJ Capital and contributed in some way or other. And we hope that we will continue to be the helping hands for people who needs help in future also.

HARRY SIMPLIFIES MR.RAJVEER'S PROBLEM

This is a case of Mr. Rajveer Shekhawat who stays in New Delhi and working in a government organization as a Senior Engineer. Mr. Shekhawat is very much interested in trading and investment but he is very busy person and don’t have enough time for trading. So, he is only into investments.

In 2006, he purchased the shares of Reliance Petroleum. Due to some work reasons his company transferred him to Colombia in the end of year 2007. After reaching there he didn’t pay attention to this stock and meanwhile Reliance Petroleum got merged into Reliance Industries. As he returned back to India, he got to know about the merger and today those stocks are worth of 4.5 Lakhs.

He got confused and was not able to decide that what should he do??? Whether he should sell those stocks and invest in some small or mid cap stocks or should deposit in a bank account. Rajveer – I want your advice regarding the shares of Reliance Petroleum. I bought them in the year 2006 after sometime this company got merged with Reliance Industries and today if I sell them then it will be approx 4.5 Lakhs. Now I am confused what to do??? Should I sell them fully or do partial selling and invest that in Small or Mid-cap. Or I should deposit them in bank account, or should sit ideal???

Prof. Harry – Before giving you any type of advice I would like to know your risk appetite?? And what is your age?

Rajveer – I am 38 years old and I believe that if we want to get good return then we have to take a minimum amount of risk also.

Prof. Harry – I am glad to know that you are aware of these facts. Well what I will suggest you is that you can sell 80% shares of Reliance Industries and 20% you can keep that in your portfolio and then invest 60% of that amount invest in small and mid-cap companies. Some of the recommendations of HBJ Capital which is in public domain where you can still make an investment are SE Investment, Venky’s Limited, Camson Bio Technologies limited etc. here you can expect very high return over a period of time, rest 20% you can keep as cash.

Mom, why you did this to me?

Shri. Shrikant Parija is the original writer of this article. He is from Orissa. Original article was published in Oriya language. This article was written in the form of letter.
Once Shri. Shrikant saw an unborn baby getting killed through abortion. For few days he could not sleep. He was restless. He could not digest the incident. He was not able to forget that incident which he saw. Finally he decided to write a letter to mother who killed an unborn baby & expressed his thoughts as if unborn daughter talking to her mother.
Only reason for the abortion was that baby was girl.

Mom, why You did this to me?

· Why? Don’t You remember me?
· Why You did?
· I was desperate to see You & Your face. It was a long period. Why You killed me?
· Do You know i only knew You & no one else?
· I was not touched by anyone,Whatever i experienced in those 4 months, it is only because of You.
· You remember? When my brother used to cry? You always tell him. Don’t cry. Now You are going to get a gift of another cute brother. You are going to play with him.
· At that time, i used to laugh (In Garbhashay) & i used to say "Mom, he is going to get a gift of small sister and not brother.
· You always took rest while taking care of him. But i was always restless.
· I always wanted to come out & play with you & my brother, as i was not able to control my emotions? i always played with my legs. On that act, You always laughed with pleasure & peace. i always wanted to see smile on your face.
· Whenever my brother used to get up.. early in morning or late in the night? He used to push Your tummy. It used to heart me inside but at the same time there was a pleasure
. Do You know why? Playing with brother? is a different pleasure especially for brother-sister.
Whenever brother was not well? You always use to pray Durga Ma & used to say "Durga Ma, please take care of my kids & give them peace of mind & good health"
· I used to cry. i thought how wonderful person You are. You love Your kids so much.
· Because of You only i realised how important it is to become mother. i also realised & understood that You also have elderly mother & her name is Durga Ma. i also understood that it was Durga Ma, who was giving all the will power, peace & good health, etc.
· Through out 4 months, i was just thinking about You & wondering how wonderful you are
. I always had only one mission and that was to see You in person. Nothing else.
· I also remember once You telling the brother "Raja, i suffered pains of 9 months. When You were born? Do well for Yourself, for Your family & help Your mother in elderly days.
· When i heard this? i started crying inside. Not because You were loving him or pampering him. i started crying because i understood that, i will have to wait for another 5 months to see You.
· And one day, You & "Papa" decided to visit doctor.
· While You were on road, i was suddenly felt a great impact as i was hit. i started crying inside. i was not able to understand what happened with You and in turn i was in pains. Then You said to "Papa". Please drive slowly. My kid will get hurt. When i heard this? i was so happy. as You were taking so much of care of us
· When You visited doctor’s place. Doctor asked You to lay down. At that time i was playing inside. Doctor was examining You at that time. He was also using something on Your tummy. i could not understand what that was. But i could see some light inside Your Garbhashay – uterus.
·I wanted to do some act so i started roaming inside from top to bottom in uterus
. On that, doctor said, baby is doing lot of activities and in turn i am not able to understand what the baby is all about.
· After 1 hour or so? Doctor said "Baby is female". Suddenly there was deep silence. And then that "Papa" said to doctor. Please perform abortion. Doctor said "Come tomorrow early in the morning without eating anything". But i was laughing inside.
· Next day morning, You got up early in the morning & i heard You were saying to Your elderly mom "Hey Durga Ma. Please take care of me and let me come back home safely. i felt, You were not well. i had tears in my eyes. i also said "Hey Durga Ma, please take care of my mother & keep her fit."
· Post to that……….You knows what happened?
Mom! Please answer ..
· Mom! why you did this to me? Why You killed me? What crime i did that You gave such a big punishment.
· I wanted to see You. You should have killed me after seeing You.
· Mom! Please give a small place again in your tummy .
· I wanted to see the world. I wanted to go school. I wanted to play my brother. I wanted to say "Happy birth day to my brother". I wanted to run behind him & You too. i wanted to lay down with You the way You used to lay down with my brother.I wanted to sleep next to You along with my brother. I wanted to hear Your soft & humble words in my ear "Sleep my child. I am with You. I will take care of You. Why You are worried. i am with You. Why You are scared".
· Mom! i want to play with You inside just to feel that smile & peace of mind. But You & "Papa" took away my this small Request. Mom! why You killed me? Why You did not fulfilled Your promise to take care of mine?
· Why Mom? Why???????????????????????????????
